1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using GraphMyDB ("the Service"), available at https://graphmydb.online, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
GraphMyDB is a free, browser-based tool for visualizing database schemas as interactive entity-relationship diagrams. The Service supports SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite), CSV, JSON, and Excel file formats. File parsing occurs locally in your browser by default. If you explicitly enable co-op, the Service may use temporary network connections so invited collaborators can sync the live session.
3. Use License
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use GraphMyDB for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may:
- Use the Service to visualize, analyze, and export database schemas
- Use generated diagrams and exports in your own projects and documentation
- Share links to the Service with others
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code (except as permitted by applicable open-source licenses)
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service in a manner that degrades its performance
4. Your Data
GraphMyDB is a browser-first application. Files you upload are processed locally by default. If you enable co-op, invited collaborators may receive live session updates over network connections while the room is active. We do not provide account-based project storage, and you retain ownership of your data and any outputs generated by the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Stoian George. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved. The GraphMyDB name, logo, and branding are trademarks of Stoian George.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stoian George and GraphMyDB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Ko-fi for donations, GitHub for issue tracking). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.
